Professional nursing is an excellent career choice, whether you are getting ready to go to college for the first time or you are a working adult exploring new job opportunities.
Technological advances in the health care industry and a shortage of registered nurses have combined to make professional nursing one of the most job marketable careers in the U.S. today. Jobs for registered nurses in the state are expected to grow by 16 percent over the next few years, according to the Georgia Career Information System.
