Pledge as Professionals
Ashley Nipper, center, a junior majoring in early childhood education, signs a professional pledge committing herself to the "ideals of the teaching profession." In what is expected to become a tradition for Macon State education majors, students signed their pledges during a formal ceremony at the beginning of fall semester. Shown behind Nipper are some of Macon State's education faculty, who also signed pledges promising to help their students graduate as competent and engaging teachers.
