The University System of Georgia Shared Services Center in Sandersville, GA is seeking applicants for the position of Customer Service Assistant The Customer Service Assistant provides high quality customer service to approximately 35,000 geographically dispersed USG employees, managers, and others via hotline and web to case resolution. The incumbent will provide HR, Payroll, and Benefits policy and process support as well as assistance in utilization of the time and labor management system, BOSS, HRIS systems, and USG’s internal self service intranet site. Minimum Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Business or a related field; five or more years experience in the human resources or payroll (additional experience can substitute for some of the education requirement); effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Applications software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; ability to prioritize, set goals and objectives, and follow through to completion; ability to work with diverse populations; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
