Honors Program

Welcome to the Macon State College Honors Program website. The Honors Program at Macon State College is designed to help academically advanced students develop their intellectual potential through even more challenging educational activities. Its main goal is to encourage these students in individual, rational, and creative thinking. In addition, the Honors Program seeks to promote academic excellence and intellectual independence on the part of the student. Honors students enjoy the benefit of small classes with MSC's finest professors, and students typically have many opportunities to travel with their professors on field trips, to research libraries, museums and theaters, and formal academic conferences.

The Macon State College Honors Program is a member of the Georgia Collegiate Honors Council, the Southern Regional Honors Council, and the National Collegiate Honors Council.
