The Office of Academic Affairs at Macon State College administers a broad range of undergraduate programs, including 18 baccalaureate programs and associate degree programs in over 30 areas. Serving more than 6,600 students on three campuses, the College is committed to quality education and student success through excellence and innovation in teaching. The institution is proud of its 198 full-time faculty members and the student-to-faculty ratio of 22:1. The College consistently seeks faculty, staff, and administrators dedicated to maintaining a positive teaching and learning environment on the campus and to assisting students in meeting their academic and professional goals. Offering day, evening, and online classes at three locations, the College also provides opportunities for students to participate in the Study Abroad Program as well as in our award-winning Honors Program.

In addition to administering programs of study, the Office of Academic Affairs oversees policies and procedures related to programming as well as to student enrollment and academic support services. A primary role of the Office of Academic Affairs is to ensure the best possible learning experience for students enrolled at Macon State College and to assist a diverse student population in meeting their educational goals. The Office works with faculty, chairs, and deans as well as with directors and professional staff in other academic units to meet its objectives.
